Visit the ÉCONOMUSÉE® of ceramic artist Susan Robertson Pottery. There, you’ll find artisan Susan Robertson, who since 1983 has been developing her art, techniques, and passion for pottery. Book your guided tour to discover her creative process and gain a deeper understanding of her artistic work. Masterfully employing the slab technique, Susan Robertson draws inspiration from nature and the world around her to create a range of handmade clay objects. The workshop’s products are distributed throughout Canada, showcasing the recognition and quality of Susan Robertson’s craftsmanship.
Prairie Bee Meadery [Caron]
Prairie Bee Meadery is Saskatchewan’s first artisanal meadery, operating since 2016. When you visit this internationally acclaimed ÉCONOMUSÉE® of mead-making, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the interpretive journey that takes you from bee to bottle. Explore the Pollinator Trail and learn about the relationship the meadmaker has with their honey-producing partners. Follow the Mead-making Trail to discover the process of crafting mead. Take a snack break while sampling a variety of meads. Yum!
Over the Hill Orchards and Winery [Regina]
Come meet artisans Sylvia and Dean Kreutzer at their organic orchard overlooking the Qu’Appelle Valley, north of Regina. The ÉCONOMUSÉE® of fruit wines and spirits, Over the Hill Orchards and Winery, is located in Lumsden and has been in development since 2000. Their products feature special Prairie varieties like saskatoon berries and cherries developed locally. Enhance your orchard visit with a wine tasting.
