La Vallée de la Framboise is a family-run agri-food business with a passion for the history and culture of berries in the Matapedia Valley. It must be said that the harvesting of wild or cultivated berries is deeply rooted in the heritage of this region.
The artisans Jean-Paul Lebel and Chantal Paradis first planted raspberry bushes, then over the years added other berries such as blackcurrants, currants, blueberries and cameries. In 2003, the couple started making alcoholic products after completing a training course in the field. Since then, they have developed a know-how that relies heavily on patience, finesse and delicacy.
At La Vallée de la Framboise, you will receive a warm welcome in an enchanting setting. Guided group tours promise you a great time. You will live an authentic and memorable experience thanks to the visit of the fields and the installations, the opportunity to pick berries, the sharing of information and the tasting of quality products.
The boutique offers a range of berries that are entirely transformed on site into alcoholic beverages and other derived products, such as spreads, jellies, butters, tarts, muffins, slushes and fruit paste. Produced using environmentally friendly methods, these products are healthy and offered at affordable prices.
