Gabriel Faherty, formerly a fisherman, is now a farmer and cheesemaker. He lives with his wife on the largest of the Aran Islands in an enchanting setting where he will show you his work as a farmer and cheesemaker. You will be able to see the farm animals up close in this beautiful setting and, of course, taste some good cheese.
The experience
Discover the beautiful Nubian and Saanen goats in the unique pastures of the Isle of Aran. Gabriel of Aran Goat's Cheese will take you on a tour of the farm, including an opportunity to visit their goat herd. You will also see the process involved in making the company’s award- winning products before sampling and experiencing the range for yourself.
