Stine Hoff studied at the Brabrand Glass School in Denmark and at Orrefors in Sweden. She has always been fascinated by the process by which glass transforms from liquid to solid form and the crucial, nerve-wracking seconds in between. Stine Hoff opened the first glassblowing workshop in Bergen with two friends in 1992. It took a lot of enthusiasm and courage to set up this type of business at that time, as it was unusual to see glass blowing outside of the large glass factories. The workshop added an exotic element to Bergen's urban landscape.
Discover the intense work that is glassblowing. Meet Stine and learn about her story and her passion for creating glass objects.
After visiting the production workshop, and perhaps even trying your hand at glassblowing, drop by the shop to see the range of decorative objects available.
