Carl Pelletier has been an artisan chocolatier for 25 years. In 2008, he came back to live in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, in his native Gaspésie, to found Couleur Chocolat. The chocolatier has surrounded himself with a great multigenerational team to create his chocolates: Pierre-Luc Pelletier, chocolatier; Colette Thibault and Marie Talbot, in packaging and customer service; as well as Paule M-Pelletier, Carl's daughter, who showcases her father's work while handling sales and market development. Respect, fairness, and fun are key values within the company and make every day an interesting one. The company offers chocolate sweets that are as beautiful as they are delicious, all made by hand using quality ingredients.
This is the first ECONOMUSEE® to offer a virtual reality guided tour experience. This immersive activity lasts 8 minutes and allows viewers to discover the world of Carl Pelletier by becoming chocolates themselves. A window has been installed between the kitchen and the boutique to bring customers closer to the chocolate maker. You will conclude your visit with a sampling of the chocolates produced on site.
The chocolate shop is a member of Gaspésie Gourmande, Fourchette bleue, and Tourisme Gaspésie. Carl chooses quality raw materials and often collaborates with local producers for the purchase of herbs. He likes to publicize the beauty of his region and promote his business throughout Québec. You will taste the identity of Gaspésie in every bite.
