Amos Pewter prides itself on being the keeper of age-old pewter practices and methods while offering innovative designs
Learn all about making pewter jewellery and objects and view the process in the company’s workshop where artisans carefully take hot, flowing molten pewter from the pot and capture it in a rotating mould formed from a wax sculpture carved in detail to reflect the original hand-drawn design.
Once removed from the mould, each piece is carefully finished by hand in a process that ensures the excellence of craftsmanship. Each piece of pewter that leaves the shop’s shelves is carefully chosen by someone with a particular connection to the piece. The mission of Amos pewter is to showcase traditional crafts and skills for all to see.
