Giuseppe Benedetto, stonecutter and glassblower, creates objects with the goal of capturing and stopping time in an object.
Across from a majestic fjord, Giuseppe Benedetto, Italian by birth but firmly rooted in Québec, has been practising his craft for 40 years. In his workshop, this tireless craftsman transforms stones from Québec and elsewhere into jewelry, decorative or utilitarian objects, and original works of art. Come and watch him cut, polish and engrave stones such as amazonite, hypersthene and labradorite. Giuseppe would even like to invite you to participate in some of the stages of the transformation process, allowing you to experience the beauty of these raw materials.
The experience
During your visit, discover how a glass blowing session proceeds. You will be impressed by the level of know-how required to create these one-of-a-kind art objects. Guiseppe will tell you his story and invite you into his world.
The products
Always in search of new shapes, the glass sculptor creates a wide variety of products using different manipulation, colouration, and firing techniques. Come visit the artisan in his shop and admire his beautiful works which are comprised of materials such as silver, gold, granite, glass, aluminum, bronze, and steel.
