Cidrerie et Vergers Pedneault is the fruit of a rich family tradition — innovative and visionary in creating delectable products!
The Cidrerie et Vergers Pedneault is a century-old family business located on L'Isle-aux-Coudres, and is the main fruit producer of the region. The visionary family behind the brand has created many unique products such as apple butter, cherry jam, strong cider, and ice mistelle with the simple goal of delighting the taste buds of both young and old. As a producer that has been imparting happiness since 1918, the Pedneault family is committed to the quality of its products, to the excellence of its customer service, to its hard work and determination, and to carrying out its business with a smile. These qualities have enabled the company to remain a flagship of Charlevoix's agri-tourism industry and, very importantly, of L'Isle-aux-Coudres!
The experience
From the orchard to the cellar, you will experience it all! You’ll begin with learning a bit about the history of apples, discovering how this favourite fruit traversed both time and the ocean to find a home on the shores of the St. Lawrence. A guided tour followed by a tasting will allow you to discover the fruits of the Pedneault family's passion, while delighting your taste buds. Discover creative recipes where berries are the star ingredient. Be sure not to leave without taking home some fruity treats. There is something for everyone!
The products
To finish off your gourmet experience, there is nothing like a visit to the company's shop. Discover a range of over 25 ciders, mistelles and creams. The variety of transformed products (some of which are Terroir Charlevoix certified) is rounded out by cider vinegar, apple juice and must, butters, jellies and jams. Most of these products are available throughout the province of Québec, making it convenient to bring the flavours of your vacation home with you.
