Passionate and innovative, the family business exercises its profession of beekeeper from the heart, following practices that respect the environment and the health of its bees.
Hive Hero is a company created in 2003 by Ginette and Danny Paradis. Formerly Paradise Valley Honey, the latter is the descendant of a long line of beekeepers, seven generations, who practiced their profession, first in Québec, then in Alberta, since the 1950s. Danny worked with his father in the family business before founding Paradis Valley Honey. Initially, Paradis Valley Honey had 800 hives and produced honey and pollen. Over the years, the company expanded its offerings. Hive Hero now has 3,500 hives, pollinates blueberry fields in British Columbia, sells its raw honey and pollen across Canada through its website, and organizes fundraising campaigns.
Hive Hero is very aware of the importance of the bees' role in our ecosystem. The company uses safe and sustainable methods and is committed to raising public awareness about this important issue.
The experience

A working beehive, historical and scientific anecdotes, sitting down to a friendly coffee break, learning through virtual reality, and product tasting is just some of what awaits you. Activities for children are also offered.
