Paradis Valley Honey is a company created in 2003 by Ginette and Danny Paradis. The latter is the descendant of a long line of beekeepers, seven generations, who practiced their profession, first in Québec, then in Alberta, since the 1950s. Danny worked with his father in the family business before founding Paradis Valley Honey. Initially, Paradis Valley Honey had 800 hives and produced honey and pollen. Over the years, the company expanded its offerings. Paradis Valley Honey now has 3,500 hives, pollinates blueberry fields in British Columbia, sells its raw honey and pollen across Canada through its website, and organizes fundraising campaigns.
Paradis Valley Honey is very aware of the importance of the bees' role in our ecosystem. The company uses safe and sustainable methods and is committed to raising public awareness about this important issue.
When you set foot at Paradis Valley Honey, you will be in for a very lively experience! A journey that will plunge you into the heart of the activities of this company and its faithful collaborators, the bees. A working beehive, historical and scientific anecdotes, sitting down to a friendly coffee break, learning through virtual reality, and product tasting is just some of what awaits you. Activities for children are also offered.
At Paradis Valley Honey, we pride ourselves on offering the highest quality, 100% natural, Grade A raw honey and pollen. The honey is unfiltered, never heated, and unpasteurized, yielding a product that is full of flavour and, most importantly, much richer in health benefits. You’ll feel like you’re dipping your spoon directly into the hive... without having a swarm of angry bees circling you!
